Sample Rates

 
BTD rates are based on the number of miles a package travels from pick up location to drop off location. The base rate applies to all miles the biker travels. When the RTD (express bus and light rail) is used, the cost per mile is 50% of the base rate.  Miles actually "biked" are not discounted.
 
For example, for a 4 hour delivery where your package travels a total of 14 miles, and the light rail is used for 12 of those miles, the formula is:
Bike Miles: (2miles x $2.25) = $ 4.50 RTD Miles: (12miles x $2.25)X %50 = +$13.50 Total cost = $18.00
4 hour delivery service Base rate: $2.25/mile RTD Discount (express bus or light rail): %50
2 hour delivery service Base rate: $3.00/mile RTD Discount (express bus or light rail): %50
Direct delivery service *delivery time varies* Base rate: $6.00/mile RTD Discount (express bus or light rail): %50
 
BTD gives an additional %15 discount on routes or all day (runs called in by 9:30am and delivered by 5:00 pm) deliveries.
